If you won Lotto Powerball, would you split it 50/50 with your best mate?

Inspired by a true story, Lotto launched an ad campaign starting with the ‘Imagine Armoured Truck’ short film. We then partnered with them to create additional promotional content that could sit across various platforms to engage audiences and kickstart the conversation around this idea of sharing a Powerball win.

We invited some real, best mates & recognisable duos to answer the very question:

 “Would you go 50/50 with your mate if you won Powerball?”

After posing the question to the duos, they had to secretly write their answers before revealing to each other, and we captured their honest reactions on camera. 

The campaign extended to the The AM Show, 7Days and radio with prize giveaways plus Newshub editorials, with a positive response from New Zealanders to share their stories around that illusive hypothetical Lotto win.
